Lost & Found and For Sale

Hello everyone and welcome to the forums page.  If you have never used a forum on line before, don't worry it is very easy to use.  Basically a forum is used to communicate with a group of people.  In this case the group is Parents, Coaches, and Players of the Dubai Sandstorms Ice Hockey Association.

When you enter you will see three topics under the "General" section.  The three topics are:

1. Lost & Found

2. For Sale

3. To the Webmaster

If you lost or found a hockey related article you can post it in the "Lost & Found".  Just click the "Lost and Found" heading and then click on "New Topic" or go to an existing topic and click on "Reply".  The same goes for the "For Sale" heading.  "To the Webmaster" is posts to me about anything you may be having a problem with on the Forum board.  There are other links on the Forum board that explain posting or replying in greater detail but believe me it is very easy to use.

Important Rules

Last year our Forums was badly spamed. I am in the process of uploading a new forum application that will make it more dificult for spammers to gain access. Please stay tuned.

There are a few dos and don'ts when you post anything in the forum.  This is a public site so remember to treat it as such...ie we don't use any bad language or inflame (that means to say bad things about people).

I have enabled the forum so you may use it without having to create a user name and password.  Feel free to create one if you like but it is not necessary.  If you do not create your own user name and password remember to state your name somewhere on your post so we all know who to contact for more information.  If I find that our forum gets abused then I will have to enable the user name and password to allow posts.  For those of you who registered last season on this forum you are still registered in this forum.

A final note: you people make this forum not me.  If we have lots of interactivity then we will all benefit from it.  Happy posting.
